Big Bend Campground

We found a little hop toad, which made Cole very happy!

It was great! I didn't get a picture of our firepit area (where I was standing to take this), but all of the sites at the campground were secluded and very nice!! 2 thumbs up!

Although we didn't make it to the top of Seneca Rocks...we did have a little fun at the Discovery Center

They had a settler's house set up that the kids and Curtis walked through while I hung w/the doggies.

Smoke Hole

We weren't able to figure out exactly where the smoke hole cave was (and I don't think they wanted us to anyway)...but prior to finding the sign, we did pull off to check out a gorgeous rock outcropping.

Farmers market dinner

We stopped by a farmers market in Franklin, WV for some fresh veggies and fruit!

Our view of Bear Rocks

By the time we got up the long, long road to the top of Bear Rocks...it started pouring down the rain :(
These pics aren't nearly as spectacular as the ones I captured during my work trip in the Sods.
But, it was pretty funny that it started pouring upon our arrival...and I was at least somewhat happy to finally get the kids up there...now we need to go back to do some exploring!

Curtis had to get into the camper to get my contact solution, I also had a sudden eye issue upon our arrival! Go figure!

Finally...standing in the Dolly Sods!!

We finally made it out of the truck to at least get a few pics of the kids standing in the Dolly Sods :)

Cole was upset in the truck because I handed Curtis a lollipop that was Cole's for him to hold onto...and Curtis ate it!
