Otter Creek Wilderness

We had a great hike on the Otter Creek trail that followed along Otter Creek :)

Beautiful little falls all along the hike from tiny tribs that feed Otter Creek.

And, guess who lost a tooth while camping???

And, the tooth fairy found us all the way out in the woods! :)

Glady Fork Camping

We had a fantastic 4 day camping trip on the Glady Fork in the Mon National Forest!

Pittsburgh Zoo

On Friday, Cole and I joined Rylie and her 1st grade class for a visit at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium.
We had a fun day, but amazingly didn't really run into many Accident Elementary kids as we walked through. We did however, run into a lot of Trough Creek Elem kids (Xander's school)!

Really? 10lbs? Why put it in a 50lb feedsack? This was a display showing how much food an Elephant eats daily.

They had a deer yard where the kids could touch the deer and this sweet 'gal nuzzled right up to Cole and went after his water tube from his Camelbak!

Yep, they are both taller than a newborn elephant!

Cousins at the zoo!!!

So, I noticed all of these kiddos running around with Trough Creek Elementary School shirts and asked if they were from Cassville, PA. Amazingly, Xander was also at the zoo on his 1st grade field trip!!
We finally met up with them right before they were leaving!!
It was a fun-filled 20 minutes of kid craziness!!

I'm pretty sure he's missing his left arm!
