Deep Creek Dunk

We went to the Deep Creek Dunk today (benefit supporting MD Special Olympics) to watch Gpa Rusty and Curtis do the dunk!

Oakland Winterfest '11

The kids and I stopped by Winterfest today after our Saturday run for groceries.
It was SO WINDY!! But, at least the temps dropped back down to make it feel more wintery.
We really, really enjoyed the sleigh ride!
Last year, Cole went with Gma Sue while Rylie and I ran in for a dr. appointment.
So, this was Rylie and I's first ride and Cole made sure to tell us all about his ride last year!
We were happy to make the cut off, we were the LAST ones to go for a ride!!
And, we got to sit right up front!!! :) Perfect for picture taking!

Sleigh Ride :)

We were in the last group to take a ride on the horse drawn sleigh through Oakland :)

This is "Bud" and he was incredible!!!

So powerful and beautiful, Cole told us all about Bud and how he did on the ride from last Winterfest!

This makes me want another horse....can we afford some acreage, horses, and a barn :)

Ice slide

The ice slide wasn't quite as structurally sound due to the recent crazy warm weather. But, the kids still had fun!

Swallow Falls

I got home a little earlier than ususal and we were able to go for a picnic at Swallow Falls!
Funny thing is, that when we pulled in, we parked next to Gpa and Gma! They were out hiking too and we eventually met up with them back in the parking lot. We had a nice time, adventuring out on the icy trails!!
What a beautiful evening!!!!!
