Hoye Crest - Highest Point in MD

Of course, we picked a very FOGGY day to hike to a scenic vista!

But, the weather was perfect for hiking...perfect temps and drizzly rain.

 

A clearing to make way for a wind turbine nearby...sure ruined the "nature" experience at the top of the mountain :(

Earth Day Tree Planting

In celebration of Earth Day, we joined a few other Youghiogheny River Watershed Association members and helped plant ~100 red spruce and black cherry trees at the Garrett County landfill property.
