A drive in the snow

After taking down the tree and doing a lot of cleanup around the house, I took off for a drive to take recyclables to the dump and to get rid of Rylie's dollhouse box before she found it and realized that Santa must've assembled it at our house!
On my way home, the snow flurries developed into quite a blizzard.such a fun adventure!
And, very happy to be home!

A few Herefords keeping warm and munching on hay along White Rock Road.

Lighted fence along Herrington Manor Road.

blizzardy night

Snowdrifted Cranesville Road just a mile from home.

Snowy morning

Pretty clouds!

Pretty mountains on a snowy morning!

Cranberry Swamp just below our house.

A view of our neighbors farm.

Grandpa's quilt

Just noticed the pic from the previous post didn't show up...so here are a few more of Grandpa's new quilt!

Christmas w/Grandma and Grandpa

Grandpa got a t-shirt quilt, handmade by Grandma Sue!

Rylie enjoyed her new pop-up Princess Castle!

Yeah! Books!

Having fun driving around their remote controlled cars...even Curtis got one! :)

He had fun when he figured out the his and Curtis's both ran on the same frequency...and he could control both at the same time! :)

Rylie LOVES chocolate!

Cole's favorite...GUMMY WORMS!

opening gifts

Socks??!!
What's so funny about this, is that I don't even remember him making any funny faces about getting socks...(a tradition in the Williams' family)

Yippie!! Lots of tools to help "fix" stuff!!!
He was disappointed when we got home and he realized that his drill wouldn't actually drill into anything...and wondered why he wasn't allowed to just use a real drill?!

Uncle Buck's new camo hat!

Uncle Buck's mustang

Cole found a mustang at the Goodwill and we decided to get it as a Christmas present for Uncle Buck (a $0.39 find without the remote).
When we got it home, Cole found some tape and did some repair work (without my knowlege) to "fix it up" for Uncle Buck! He did a great job, and I'm sure that this mustang will be forever treasured by Uncle Buck! :)

Cole explained to his Uncle Buck on where and why he had made the repairs!

Good doggies

The doggies enjoyed their Christmas treats!

Cars MaterNational Wii Fun!

Cole has been having a lot of fun playing his new Cars MaterNational Wii game! :)
Of course, he doesn't like to play by the rules and prefers just doing donuts on the track instead of racing!

Knitting machine

Curtis got Rylie a knitting machine!

Making a hat...which will not fit one of her dolls :)
Guess we need to figure out how to adjust the settings to make something larger!

Cole had a lot of fun helping!!

Cole's train

Once again, Cole's gift was wrapped in nice paper, which he didn't want to rip.
It took a little while for him to remove each piece of tape...but eventually he opened his Hiro train from the Thomas the Train set.
